Candy always captivate people's imaginations, doesn’t matter if they are young or old. They are delicious to eat, but they are even more delicious to gift! Can you imagine the smile on the face of the person to whom you are giving a bouquet decorated, not with flowers as everyone does, but with candies? You can be sure your gift will stand apart, and it will also mean a ton of things you cannot express in words.

New though it sounds, gifting candy bouquets is hardly a recent idea. People have been doing it for decades now, and there are many ways in which these bouquets are made. In fact, huge businesses have sprung out around the idea, and there is heavy marketing in place. But, if you want to gift someone a candy bouquet, there is nothing like learning how to do it yourself. There are many ways in which you can do it, only you will need some artistic talent, and dollops of love for the person you are making the gift to.

The most elementary requirement of making candy bouquets is arranging an assortment of candies in a container, which could be a pot or a short vase, or anything you have made for holding the candies. The candies can be arranged in several imaginative ways, and you must let your imagination run riot here. Your imagination should be used not simply in arranging the candies in different patterns, but also in decorating the receptacle in which the candies will be held, the wiring or tapes that hold your candies together, the colors of the candy wrappers you will be using; just about anything.

Here are a few ideas to make your candy bouquets look more chic:-

Wrap the candies in separate colorful wrappers. Do not remove their own wrappers; just put another wrapper over the already existing one. This will give you a chance to play with colors. Decide various themes you will use on your candy wrappers.

If you are using lollypops, you can just poke then in the receptacle material so that they jut out. Adjust the angles so that they look divergent. Then you can arrange several other things in their interspaces, depending upon your choice. You can even use real or artificial flowers and poke them in between the lollypops. Or, you can use colored ribbons to get some novel kinds of decorations.

One interesting type of candy bouquet is the tree arrangement. On a piece of card paper, sketch out the stems of a tree. At the place where flowers must be placed, paste the candies. This can turn out quite nice if done properly. In fact, if you have a little more skill, you can make a whole tree-like arrangement out of wire and hang the candies from it from various places. You can also use themes like falling leaves, or snow-covered trees, or anything that you fancy.

Lace and ribbon adds a lot of grace to your candy bouquets. Even if you just place them randomly, they will perk up the arrangement a good deal. To enhance the look, you can use white lace and bright colored ribbon. Just try to visualize the look of a bouquet filled with candies that has white lace interspersed through it and red spiral ribbons hanging from the top!
